Terms of Service

The agreement between you and us: what we provide, what you may test, how billing works, and how either of us can end it.

Last updated .

These terms are the agreement between you and Asheon LTD ("Stabula", "we") for the use of the Stabula website and the Stabula Studio. By creating an account you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.

The service

Stabula runs performance tests against HTTP endpoints you configure, and reports what happened. Tests are executed by Grafana k6, which we run unmodified as a separate process. We may change, add or remove features; if a change removes something material from a paid plan, we will tell plan holders by email before it takes effect.

Your account

  • Give us an accurate email address and keep it current — it is how we reach you about your account.
  • Keep your password and your API tokens to yourself. Anything done with your credentials is treated as done by you.
  • You are responsible for the members you invite to a workspace and for what they do in it.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

What you may test

This is the part that matters most, because a load test sends real traffic to a real system.

  • Test only what you are entitled to test. You must own the target, or have the owner's permission. We may ask you to show it.
  • Do not use Stabula to attack anyone. Denial of service, stress-testing someone else's service without permission, brute-forcing credentials, scanning for vulnerabilities you have no right to probe: all prohibited, and all grounds for immediate suspension.
  • Respect the limits of the target. Load that a target's own provider would treat as abuse is your responsibility, not ours.
  • Internal and cloud-metadata addresses are refused. Requests to localhost, private ranges and link-local addresses are blocked before a run starts. Do not try to work around those checks.
  • No unlawful content. Do not put anything into a request that you have no right to send, and do not use the service to break the law where you or your target are.

We do not monitor the content of your tests, but we do act on reports of abuse.

Plans, usage and billing

  • Every workspace starts on the Free plan. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, in US dollars, and renew until cancelled.
  • Capacity is measured in VU-minutes: one simulated user running for one minute. Each plan includes a monthly allowance, which resets at the start of each calendar month. A run that would exceed the allowance is refused before it starts, with a message naming the limit.
  • Changing to a dearer plan applies at once; changing to a cheaper one applies at once and the price difference is handled by Stripe's proration.
  • Cancelling stops the renewal. The plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for, and the workspace then returns to Free.
  • Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it, or where we have failed to provide the service and cannot put it right.
  • Prices can change. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before a change affects a plan you hold.

Who owns what

You own what you put in: your requests, scenarios, settings, and the results of your runs. You give us the permission we need to host and process that content in order to run the service for you — nothing more. We own the Stabula software, the website and the brand. k6 remains the property of its authors under the AGPL-3.0; we do not claim it.

Availability

We work to keep Stabula available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, upstream failures and abuse can all interrupt it. Plans that include a formal availability commitment say so on the pricing page; no other plan carries one.

Suspension and termination

You can stop at any time: cancel the plan, or delete the account from Settings → Account. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that puts the service or another customer at risk, or that has not paid. Where the circumstances allow, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix it. On termination we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Warranties and liability

Stabula is provided "as is". A test result is a measurement, not a guarantee about your system; decisions you make from it are yours. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We update the date at the top when these terms change. Material changes are announced by email to account holders at least 30 days before they take effect; continuing to use Stabula after that means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Thailand, and the courts of Bangkok have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.
